Rachel Zoe just had a baby (I just watched the episode where Rachel and Roger just fought about getting pregnant...) Ok, time to stop watching so much crap. In other news, I am (supposed to be) getting ready for my internship in New York this summer. It's not until the end of May so I don't really feel any sort of obligation to start figuring what am/not bringing. But that's sort of how I am these days. No obligation or motivation to do much of anything which is so not me. I can't wait to leave and do something foreign to me and be scared for the first time in my life. I think it's important for everyone to push themselves to do something that scares them at least once in their life. If we don't, what's the point of living? I can't just go through the motions for the rest of my life. Hopefully I get a job out of this, but if not, I hope to learn a lot about myself and the world around me.
I suppose I could at least elaborate on what the internship is. Fashion PR for KCD Worldwide. I am living in the NYU dorms this summer, which is daunting only because I am sure I will be the oldest person in my suite for five years. Whatever. Hopefully I will be the cool older roommate who buys alcohol. Just kidding (no I'm not). Maya xoxo.
